“There’s no guilt or wrong doing in keeping some of your time for yourself!”
We all get the same amount of hours in a day, but it’s what we do with them that makes all the difference. We tend to give so much of our energy out to other people, that we often forget about ourselves. The importance is knowing when to stop, breathe and block out a certain amount of time for ourselves. There are so many things that we can do to refill our cup, allowing us to walk away revitalized and refreshed, continuing to be the best version of ourselves. So how does a re-frame sound???
“It’s time to own our time. It’s time to celebrate, connect, find peace, feel grounded and ditch the outdated and harmful thinking that doing so is something to feel guilty about.”
The following ways might just be the way to find that time:
- Get the candles out and have a bath with some beautiful Bath Salts, zoning out to some remedial tunes.
- Get out that teapot and brew your favourite blend of tea … just promise me you’ll drink it whilst it’s still warm.
- Take the time to pick the essential oil that draws you in and start diffusing away, its amazing how quick our frame of mind can change when we are recharged and our cups are full!
